I'm thinking about buying it and fixing it. How much will forks and front wheel and crap run me? Is it worth going through the hassle?

Geez! good ****ing god! Don't take that POS even if he gave it to you for free!

In my experience (3 years riding) I don't think that can be repaired to a condition safe to ride for less than the cost of the bike. And I feel sorry for whoever the seller sells it to if he does take it and repairs it himself.

A brand new fork and front wheel (two of the many of parts that will need replacing) will exceed the cost of the bike already. The frame more than likely suffered a hard blow considering the condition of the forks and that will require straightening or replacing. A new front cowling and headlight mount will run into the thousands as well.

I was lookin at that earlier, just not worth it IMO.

 

i would say no. once you get it back to normal you will have put just as much into it as one not messed up if not more.
