Swaps arent that worthwhile...!!!
well i am beginning to think that swapping anything besides a b series motor is not worthwhile...because a a6 motor stock would make 95 hp while a z6 motor stock makes around 105 and a zc motor makes somewhere between 105-110...whats the difference????? it allc omes down to driver...well i dropped a z6 in my car and am in the middle of the obd 1 conversion..but i am about to stop and jsut leave my a6 in cause it seems to not be worth the hassle....please inform me...and could you please post up a dyno chart for a z6 motor with I/h/e and a a6 motor with i/h/e and a zc as well...THANKS
I'm not sure how accurate your numbers are, but there are a lot of people who agree that it isn't worth swapping out an A6. I strongly disagree. Most people who have done it agree that the Z6 and ZC are big improvements over the A6. With my ZC, I dropped from running 16.1 - 16.2 (A6) to 15.2 - 15.3 (ZC) in my 91 Si Civic Hatch. It was well worth it for me.
Here is a ZC with I/H/E.... it's GeoShitties, so it will only be able to be viewed about once before it goes down for the next 2 years.....

max power = 128hp
max torque = 108hp
CF = 1.02

i got a Z6 into my 90 HB..........
its a big diff from the shitty D15B1........
if u doing the OBD conversion urself, then u going to be dissapointed....... i was like that for a while.. i wanted to build my shitty 70 hp engine... but i managed to get things working, i never gave up and now i got a fully functional Z6........ and i am happy with it..... impressed how good its performing on my HB...... not as powerfull as a B16 , but u can keep up with them,.........
my opinion is. dont give up.. have someone help u..... and since u still in the middle of the wiring like u said u havent driven the Z6 yet, then u dont know yet what u going to be expecting....... and if u ask me running 15.5-15.7 with a stock Z6 on a rex, thats pretty damn good........
