anybody know for what engine these skunk2 cam gears are for?
I got these a couple of weeks ago, totally got screwed over by the guy saying they would fit a gsr, didnt know what they looked like until i met him up since he didnt have pics on craigslist. i also didnt know exactly what they were suppose to look like. I was so pissed that they didnt fit cuz this pushes me back on my tune, which i really want so badly already so i know the numbers its pulling...i know it wont be a beast but it will satisfy me. I wish i could go knock out that idiot.
They are Skunk2 tuner series in blue and are bigger than the gsr cam gears by a bit. Im guessing they are H22 or something bigger.
outside diameter teeth from one white line to the other on the teeth
3.043 inches
92.04mm
the mounthing ring, the hollow circle.
14.30mm
.0670 in
here are some crappy pics but the blue parts shape and cut out or lack of, i think is what distinguish them for different engines.

the size was a big difference so yea hope someone can help.
thanks

Well I can tell you that H23 and B-series cam gears are the same. h22 are different I believe
They LOOK exactly like the H22 cam gears, check JHP's picture, they look identical to yours, so im guessing thats what they are.

Same exact thing happened to me long time ago took on trade "B" gears, went to put them on and they were so big they would hit each other. I can't remember if the shaft size was different, but I think it was. Got a VTECprelude about 6 months after and they worked great on that. Man was I pissed that day. T belt off and out of town dyno session the next day. Still made good numbers but what do you do.
thanks guys now i can get rid of these and give accurate info on what engine they are for...just pissed that i have to wait to get the tune since i have to order new ones and then wait for them to get here. Goes to show i had a bad feeling about the guy selling them.
