anyone knows what exactly are the screws that hold plastic steering wheel cover in 91 Civic? Philips screwdriver does not appear to have any effect on them, and my mug is too big to pick behind

silly as it is... we have something that sounds like a quarter rolling inside, MOST ANNOYING.

You could just take the wheel off, just pull the H logo and its a 19mm. Then you could actually, look and pick behind there.

 

Yeah, carefully remove the H from the center of the wheel.

Then use a socket and ratchet to remove the wheel, lots easier that way.

yes, it is 4 tiny phillips screws. have no idea why i could not undo them without taking steering wheel off. was really no tension on them, while i had wheel upside down on my work bench.

and yes, we did have a quarter inside. i'm rich, bliatch!
