Have any of you seen kx500's or cr500's at the drags before. I've personally seen a fairly hefty man run kx500 to high 11's.
I was thinking of going this route because 97 cr500's can be found for just over $2g's(drag bike one weekend, dune bike the next)

Go for it!! Both bikes can make 70+ hp if tuned up right, and weight something like 260 lb. wet. Do yourself a favor and get a supermotard rear wheel (17", and can fit street tires or race slicks). They are an absolute animal...if you can keep the front wheel down you should be able to humble quite a few people, at least for the first 500 ft
