dpfi to mpfi ...wire in b12 white with red
your supposed to move c1 and c2 to b10 and b12's spot then re-run wires from c1 and c2 back out into the engine bay. its for the 2 white wires if i remember correctly.
dude c1 and c2 and everything is ran fine its the throttle heating Im worried about and I found that some do have a wire in b12 that arent used
so the actual throttle body is heating up?? uhhhhhhh, normal operating temps possibly? do you have an fitv? check that. other than that youwould have to take a pic and highlight what your experiencing with your car for me to figure out what your having issues with
what do you mean your throttle cable is heating up? it's attached to the intake, which is attached to the engine block. just like most everything else attached to the engine, it's going to get hot..

you must have worded something wrong, go back and read what u said. the throttle cable is a mechanical cable and doent carry an electrical current. if its getting hot than there must me a couple of wires rubbing against it or something.
i was just wondering if anyone else had this problem thats all and no I didnt word it wrong...somehow the throttle CABLE is grounding out and heating up
The throttle body doesn't get THAT hot really... I wouldn't want to hold my hand on it long, but it shouldn't be heating up your throttle cable. I can't imagine how anything in a car would be grounding out on that cable, drawing enough current to heat it and not blow a fuse.
You're 100% sure you mean throttle cable? The cable that's attached to the gas pedal at one end and the throttle body at the other??

Tell us more... Let me see if I understand thus far... you don't have spark, so the engine isn't starting, but somehow you're heating your throttle cable? Do you have a light / soldering iron / etc resting on it?
While a lot of the guides for the DPFI to MPFI say there won't be a wire at B12... that isn't always true. If there IS a wire there, cut it and use it.

So, what did the problem end up being?
Instead of just adding to the filth and useless trash on the board you could post up a piece of useful information.
you know, like how it USED to be.
An avalanche sometimes starts with a single snowflake you know.
Yeah I remember how it used to be it might say new member but its just a new account...and to let you know it was a faulty main ground it was snapped in the middle...and for the child that said a throttle cable is mechanical and cannot heat up....if you knew anything you would know that mechanical or not your whole car is a closed circuit with the whole chassis as the ground.
hey man i will try n help you out the best i can... r u sure its the throttle cable... clutch cable maybe ...****I just got this as a private message.... Do people on this site really think people dont know what a throttle cable is? Im so suprised at how much honda-tech has declined
Some people think you don't have to ever replace your muffler bearings or check your blinker fluid, you'd be surprised. Honda-tech has always been like this, if anything the level of a**holeness has declined.
