Please Help, trouble with Blower Motor
The blower in my 2004 Element stopped working. I have read and followed many posts on this issue but am still stuck.
As most people have indicated that this is usually due to a problem with the blower transistor I replaced it, but the blower still does not come on.
I performed the test where you hold down the defrost and recirculate buttons then count the number of blinks when your turn the key to II. I get 12 blinks, which supposedly indicates an error in the circuit somewhere.
I am getting 12 volts on the blue/black blue/white wires going to the motor no matter what setting the the fan dial is set to. I have read conflicting posts on whether this is a good thing or not. I have checked the fuses and they are all good.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for the quick response. I did the steps listed in the second post of the link, but I do not get the same results. When I jumpered the wires at the transistor the fan still did not come on. So, how do I determine if the motor is bad, or if the switch is bad?
