so I tried to replace my front passenger side stock wheel/tire on my 94 del sol and cant get it off, it seems like its rusted on the hub or something, tried bangin wheel with mallet and still wont come off anybody else ever have problem like this? any suugestions would be kosher

 

Try using PB blaster (wd40 ect.) on the hub and bang the back on the rim (rotate rim after each hit). Remember to have at lease one lug on, just a couple thread so the rim don't go flying. Put your back in to the bangs or hit the gym.

 

When I have this problem at work I hit the tire from the back with either a board or if it's real bad I'll roll the jack into the back of the tire HARD if the car's high enough. That's just me though. I'd have to be there.

 

I usually tape a wooden block to the top of the rim and then hit it with a large sledge.

 

if your changing it on the ground i just sit my fat *** down and give it a swift kick with my heel seems to do the trick but if all else fails you can try heating up the center to expand the metal.

 

So did you ever get the tire off? Did you beat on it like a **** star?
