I am saving this carbon fibre hood

I picked up a CF hood, $250 used Craigslist. Turns out to be "Vis" brand.
Sold relatively cheap for the issue of damaged clearcoat and such.
Also, apparently the previous owner's friend (who he got it from) attempted re-clearing it on his own and did it way too much.
I picked it up (with one hand of course) with the intention of wet-sanding it and restoring its original luster.
If I fail miserably, I'll find a good body shop to fix it for me.
Here's some in-progress pictures.

Where they tried to buff the clear and just made a little more mess, heh.

Got a good area of carbon visible now on the driver side, where it needed it most.

Here's where it was buffed, coming clean pretty well thus far.

Passenger side was just as affected by the failed save.

Holy progress on driver side! This is my wet sanding setup.
A zip tie on the car wash thing holding it on, I didn't drop in any quarters today though.

Mmm, almost there, the sides are clean too.
... But then, suddenly, I got tired and went home.

There's how it looked as I went inside, still a lot to do but this should turn out well.
