i need to know what exactly all i need without using and of the stuff on the ef like tranny and all that. new to all this swap stuff so im trying to do my first one.


should i just buy a wrecked eg with the d16z6 and swap everything.



also if i use a d16 block what heads can i swap to get a bit of better performance

 

i would say search to learn. but besides the z6 you need an p28 ecu and a obd0-obd1 jumper if your car is dpfi you need to rewire it to mpfi you can use the stock tranny in your car or anyother d series cable tranny you can use a hydro but then you gotta buy the kit. as far as heads all single vtec heads are pretty much the same stock for stock. everything else you use stock stuff for your car.

 

also dont forget the motor mount bracket from the A6 block cuz the Z6 motor mount bracket wont work on the EF.

 

okay so what year make and model does the engine bracket have to be from and what year make and model does the mount have to be from?? thanks in advance
