time to get b16 running right again, need help
Hello everybody!
like the title said, I want to get my b16 running like it should be. My determined issue due to burning oil has been piston rings. Instead of replacing just the rings, and then shortly replacing other stuff, i'd rather get the most likely stuff out of the way. I'm just going to take it into a shop, seeing as i need this to be done as quick as it can be and im willing to admit my level- novice.
So, question is- What all do you suggest I have done, and if you have any ideas on a price that'd be cool. If your in the madison area a suggestion for a shop would be cool too. I got a place in mind, but curious to hear others opinions.

I really want to, its just that I have to make it to school and work almost every day of the week. so I kinda need it done quickly and accurately. If i can convince my girlfriend to let me take her car or something, then i might be able to. But, regardless- i need some ideas as to WHAT i should have done.
If you know you need piston rings, you'll need at least a hone.
Budget?
Taking it in won't be cheap, but a reputable shop that knows what they are doing will be glad to help you out.
List of minimum things to consider:
Front/rear main seals
Rod/Main bearings inspection/clearances checked
Crank balancing
New rings, obvious
Piston/wrist pin inspection for play
ARP nuts/bolts/studs
valve lash
new oil pump
new water pump
new headgasket (oem will be fine)
new timing belt
