1998 Civic EX 4 door. Dark green with tan cloth interior. Car has pretty much every option you could get in 1998. Power windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof. AM/FM stereo in dash and factory 6 disc CD changer in trunk. OEM Honda alarm system with light flash and starter kill. Car runs and drives great and has been my wife's commuter for the last couple years. The car itself currently has 215,000 miles. At 195,000 miles, the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, front axles, front brake rotors, and front brake pads were replaced. The car also has a new alternator and a newer power steering pump. Car runs and drives like it has much lower mileage. NO squeaks or rattles in the car. If you are looking for a car you can just buy and drive, here it is. Car does have some hail damage but it seems to be isolated to just the hood. Normal wear and tear for a car of this age. Car has NEVER been in an accident that required a body panel replacement; every VIN sticker is on every metal panel on the car!!! Although there are no hubcaps in the pictures, the car will come with the stock hubcaps installed. I will put them on the car and update the pictures as soon as I do. Sorry for dirty car pics, it had been raining. I'll also have the car cleaned up when I post the new pics...

May be willing to trade for Civic EX 4 door with 5 speed in black or silver or a 96-00 Civic hatchback with 5 speed. NO RED CARS!!!

Yes, I'll have pics posted up this evening with the car all cleaned up. It had been raining and this is my wife's daily driver. Took the hubcaps off this winter since I did not want one getting lost.

Tonight, I'll get some real pics up of the car.

OK, rinsed the car off (no chamois though...) and took some pics of the outside and the engine compartment. I'll get my wife's work stuff out of the car and get interior and trunk pics soon; probably tonight or tomorrow.

Here is a little more I noticed after I washed the car off:

1. Hail damage is noticeable on hood, light on roof, and light on trunk lid. I have taken pics to show this.
2. At some point in time, there was paintwork done on the front driver fender and front right corner of the bumper cover. Took pics of this.
3. Both headlights are OEM Honda but the passenger side one is more faded. I'm guessing due to the carport the lady I got from parked the car; that side probably got more sunlight. Took pics of this.
4. There is a shallow crease on the passenger side quarter. I have taken pics of that.
5. As stated already, there are small door dings on the car and some scratches from someone putting a cardboard box on the paint.
6. Small spot of rust on passenger side rear "dog leg". Took pics of this.

Good:

1. Timing belt, water pump, tensioner, both axles, front rotors, front pads, all accessory belts were all replaced at 195,000 miles. Fuel filter, spark plugs, cap, rotor, spark plug wires were all replaced at about 210,000 miles.
2. Alternator replaced at 214,000 miles with unit from parts store with lifetime warranty.
3. Power steering pump replaced at 214,000 miles with good, low mile, used piece.
4. I'm getting ready to put a new oil pan gasket on the car. Probably tonight. Will provide pics of this.
5. EVERYTHING works like it should. AC, cruise, windows, locks (well, passenger side door is intermittent every once in a while; I think the plug to the actuator is loose), CD changer all work.
6. We maintain our cars like we plan on keeping them our whole life. Because of this, the car drives better than many cars with 1/4 the mileage...

I put a new oil pan gasket on the car today as the old one was seeping a little bit. Also, newer OEM muffler was installed last night.

 

Back up to the top. No longer need a hatch as I picked up a 99 this weekend. MAY still be interested in an EX 4 door 5 speed in silver or black but I'm most interested in trading for cash now.
