How low should I drop my eg. Dont want to look slammed but I dont want to look stock
At the moment my car is slammed. When I bought it about 2 months ago the previous owner explained to me that the coilovers were broken and are no longer adjustable. Right now it is basically at the lowest setting. I am going to switch over to springs but im not sure how much to drop it. I do not want to get coilovers again because I have heard that springs ride better. I dont want to get springs with not enough drop and have it look stock, but I dont want to get springs with too much of a drop and be in the same situation as Im in now. Anyone have any suggestions on how low to go? Anyone rocking a 2 inch drop? If so pics would be greatly appriciated. Thanks alot
if yur getting springs get h&r race spring 2.5" f 2.25 r, they tuck a bit of the tire, get PIC's coilovers
ride quality is determined by the match of the shock damping and spring rate. It's typically easier if you buy them both as a set (coilovers) but not necessarily the best in everyone's eyes... since "best" is a personal choice.
PICs ride great and their customer service is legendary. Hit them up, if they would suggest someone else's setup they will tell you so... (you can't get that anywhere else)
You can do the research and calling around to various different companies to get your preferred set of springs to match the damping profiles of a set of shocks, but it's frustrating at times. Not all companies are willing to give out the specs you need to make an educated decision.

12" from the fender lip to the center of the wheel.

That's on the Progress Series II setup on 15" wheels with 205/50.

Thanks for all the input guys. I took a better look at my setup today and my car already has konis. I'm not sure exactly what model they are but Ive heard that konis with ground control coilovers is a great setup. With that being said Im really looking into getting some ground control coilovers now because I already have konis. Is there any specific spring rates I should be looking for or are all ground controls for the hatch the same. Sorry for the noob questions I just dont know much about suspension and want to make sure I get the correct setup. Thank you
