Car sputtering/bogging around 3k rpm
so i finished up my jdm 96 spec b18c-r into a 00 civic dx.... used the itr ecu it came with and a 00 civic si engine harness with jumper harness...
car was working fine for a week... EVEN in 100+ degree weather.... now all of a sudden today the car started sputtering around 3k rpm like it was about to stall out and die.... it wont do it constantly but prob like every other time i start/stop the car.... there's NO CEL on whatsoever and is NOT overheating...
anyone ever experienced this.... or know of any possible solutions?

? I had a similar prob in a gsr swaped hatch i did. I took off all the grounds and cleaned them with a wire brush and cleaned the frame where the grounds blot. Cleared it right up.
ok...will try.... i know theres the tranny ground and the valve cover ground... is there any other places it grounds at?
ok cleaned all the ground wires.... still sputtering not as much i figure cuz its night time.... checked plugs they were replaced about a week ago....the are fine no oil on them....

the car was running really rich.... so i was like wtf.... not fuel pump...getting plenty of fuel....so i started thinking why would it be dumping so much fuel into the engine.... then i figured the o2 sensor was bad... so i changed it out..... and it runs perfect.... made the 1000+ mile trip for NorCal to Texas no problem....
well a mechanic told me if the sensor wasnt rading the exhaust gasses right or at all... the ecu will think its running lean... therfore dumping in more fuel.... i was getting too much... havent had a problem with it since
If the O2 sensor doesnt read any info, it will go into a "limp mode" which basically means the ecu makes the car run rich for safety.
