matching parts for conversion.. need help and knowledge
im installing a 99 civic si rear disc brake conversion on a 92 eg.. i know how to install it thats not the problem.. my question is will the brake booster and master cylinder off a 01 acura gsr be compatible with the 99 civic si brake conversion or do i have to use the civic si brake booster and master cylinder.. YOUR KNOWLEDGE IS NEEDED!!!
the 99 SI master cylinder is 7/8", and i believe the GSR is the same. Most importantly, you'll need to use the proportioning valve (40-40)from either one.
The GSR master is 15/16. you can use either the si or the gsr. Also you need the proportioning valve for a 90-93 integra RS (40/40) model non-abs and 92-95 si (but hard to find). Good luck bro.
itr 1" master cylinder. gangsta gangsta.
but its whatever.. all the **** works and is interchangeable. except some previous generations have the clocking of the mastery cylindry bolts 90 degrees different.
diff master cylinders may require different bending of lines and possible line changing (early model gsr 1st channel line). but its nothin to be scared of
