i've destroyed 2 sets of stock axles in the past year. i have a 91 crx with a b16 on n2o that i drag with. it makes 191whp all motor and i'm hittin it with an additional 100hp shot (haven't dynoed on spray yet). the trans has a drag spool. my question is what aftermarket axles would work good on my setup?

 

dss axles are the best. even the level 0 or 1 what ever it is that arent for racing are much stronger then OEM

 

your breaking your axles most likely beaucse your not preloading the car when your launching or your droping the clutch to fast but ive heard horsepower axles are ok

also my setup is almost identical to your i made 180whp on engine and 265 and a 90 shot

 

true. i don't preload and i drop the clutch as fast as i can (6 puck). thanks i'll look em up.

 

I didnt preload my B16 EF's, had 3 setups in it, and 1 pair of OEM axles. 260hp on nitrous, 281hp nitrous, and 430+hp boosted. all 6 puck clutches, all dropped at the line, never broke a set. guess i'm just lucky. look into the DSS stage 2 or 3's that dont require the new hubs
