Hi All

My 93 del sol was parked in the street and was hit, looks like someone backed into the driver side door. (No note or anything so that sucks.) It was hit where the door handle sets in the door. I was dented pretty good and the door handle was pushed in.

The door opened and closed but couldnt lock the door. The plastic tab was broken on the locking cylinder from the so I replaced it. After I replaced it the door didnt open or close anymore could it possible that rods and or the lock assembly that latches on the striker are tweeked?

Should I replace the rods, lock assembly and door handle? Take it to a body shop? Buy a used door?

Just looking for suggestions.

I would try to replace the door. A body shop can fix the dent though(del sol doors are hard to find).

 

Do an estimate on which ever option is cheaper and take that route.
