Default Tranny and clutch question.

So I've been researching and still haven't came up with an answer. I know this is an odd question, but I wanted to double check. I just purchased a D16Y7 to swap into my 89 Crx so I can finish up my other motor for the season. Anyways It's a Hydro tranny and I was wondering if they made any D-series cable to hydro conversions? If not would I have to switch out clutches out if I bought a Cable Si tranny for it?

The motor I bought it hydro, and my car is cable...I would need the cable to hydro conversion kit If I kept the original transmission. That's is why I asked if they made D-series cable to hydro conversion kits, or if I bought a cable Si tranny, would I have to switch clutches? I know B-series you do, but I'm not sure about D-series that is why I am asking.

The motor that was in my car was a Gsr with a Cable B16 tranny in it. I pulled it out to rebuild it for the season. I recently bought this D16Y7 motor for really cheap so I would have a car to drive around daily while the Gsr is being built. I have very little knowledge when it comes to D-series, thats why I asked.

im also pretty new to honda, but so far as i know D-series only compatible with cable. Like B16A1 comes with cable as well which fits EF's.

So would I have to get a whole new clutch and fly wheel if I convert it from hydro to cable? I have a cable Si tranny in my garage, would that work with the hydro clutch or would I have to switch it.
