91 Civic LX B18a1 smogged?!
I have a 91 civic lx and i'm getting an B18a1 tomorrow. I can do the swap not a problem, but i have never taken a car to the state reff so i have no idea how that goes. Can anyone enlighten me on what would be the simplest way to get it to pass the insection and smog thanks!
obd 0 stuff is fairly simple to reff. well B18A's in EF's i should say.....
just make sure your wiring is clean, and the motor being swapped in must be same year or newer than the car. and the ECU must be same ECU for the motor (same obd and all)
as long as u get a clean "running" motor (not jus clean) and have your wiring done right(since im guessing...91 LX so its a 4dr....duel point
poo) you should have no prob with ref.
good luck
