Benefits of a larger Master Cylinder?
What are the benefits of a larger master cylinder?
From what I understand it is just the pedal feel?
But, it does not help regarding stopping distance?

Great question.
to answer your question in simple terms. NO, a stock car would not benefit (in stopping distance) with a larger MC.
The basic of getting your car to stop better is in this order (IMHO) tires, pads, calipers(larger surface or piston), larger rotor, Brake booster, MC.
From what I think, it would be beneficial to have a larger one so that your able to hold & push more fluids to the calipers.
For example ef come with front brake calipers that have a 53mm piston.
If you were upgrading to a caliper with larger pistion (ITR/GSR/civic ex... 57mm) or if you were adding DA rear calipers with 29mm piston.... in you may want to upgrade to a larger MC so you can PUSH enough fluids to all 4 corners.
hope that helped
less pedal travel and better brake fee, i got gsr font and rear disks on my eg when i had stock one it felt like there was air in the system and too much pedal travel (due too bigger calipers and having calipers in the back needed more fuild so had to press more down) when i replace my master with gsr it was way less distance and didnt feel to losee.
but no stoping distance is the same its just for better pedal feel

Thanks for the quick responses.
I don't think i will be upgrading the M/C since I won't be upgrading the other compnents.
Again, thanks.
