You are required by our sales rules to provide the VIN number and relevant serial numbers of major items in order to allow people to discern whether they are from stolen vehicles.

He does not have the VIN of the vehicle from which the seats were originally taken.
It is probably unreasonable, then to require the original VIN, but anybody buying the seats should be aware that he does not know the VIN from which the seats were taken.

Reopening thread after getting an explanation from the user.
He does not have the VIN of the vehicle from which the seats were originally taken.
