Default 98 civic steering rack ?

whats up guys? i have a question and searched but didnt really find what i was looking for. i bought a 98 dx with a gsr swap awhile back and the previous owner removed the p/s pump when he did the swap without looping the lines leading to issues with the rack. i am looking into to replacing the rack with a non p/s unit and wanted to see if there was anything different between the two before i make the descision to purchase a new rack.

tia for any help or suggestions you guys may have.
