soo, i just got back from autozone, and purchased some platinum NGK spark plugs, and have premium spark plug wires coming from NGK.

My buddy told me that the platinums are not a good idea for me, and that the tips will melt, blah blah blah. He said I should have gotten just the V-power spark plugs instead of platinum.I told him i'm pretty sure Honda says to use platinums for the b16a2, but he told me i was wrong. Can someone verify for me if I'm right or wrong? If i am wrong, what should I have done instead?
