Help a Suspsension Newb w/ a GC set up!
I bought a 99 EM1 about 6 months ago, and it came w/ Tokico Illumina adj w/ Skunk2 sleeves all the way around. The ride is all right im just not happy of how its set up, and want to go with something different
since my Tokicos are in great shape, you think i should just buy a set of GC sleeves w/ extended top hats?
will it make that much of a difference?

If you want different spring rates, just swap the springs. No reason to replace the threaded sleeves if they are still in good shape.
What are the current rates, and what about them is making you consider changing them?

If you want to go lower then get some gc springs with higher spring rates. The top hats in the front would also be good.
If you like the ride height you could always go with just some higher gc spring rates to stiffen it up some more. I think the money could be better spent on a nice sway bar setup though.

No numbering or other marks on them to help identify them?
I'm not familiar with Skunk2 sleeves or springs. If I ever forget my current rates, Eibach was nice enough to print it on the side of each spring for me. I would hope Skunk2 would do so as well if they offer different rates.
That aside, what does the car not do that you want it to, or vice versa?
You ask if it will make a difference to replace parts, but don't state what you hope to achieve by doing so, so the question is unanswerable.

Real Skunk2 springs do have the spring information on the side. For example mine are printed with 700.250.008. 008 being my spring rate which is 8k
