Meguiar's Show Glaze
So the local Advanced Auto carries the professional pure polish Show Glaze #7. I searched on here to see what's been said, but couldn't find much. would that be a decent hand polish?
a glaze is not really a true polish. a glaze will just fill in uncorrected paint, basically acting like a bandaid to hide swirls and very minor scratches. if you are going to take the time to do some paint correction, depending on the condition of the paint, you might not be able to get every single swirl mark/minor scratch out by hand so a glaze would be cool to use to fill in the rest of the imperfections.
i have never used a glaze so i cannot comment on which glaze i prefer.
