I have a little project I'm trying to figure out and it involves installing an EVAP nipple on a TB which does not already have one. I have a donor TB but was wondering the best method by which to remove the EVAP nipple from it so that I can install it on the other TB. I'm guessing it's just pressed in place. I tried using pliers but it wouldn't budge. I figure I'll try heating it next to see if I can get it to break loose, but wanted to get some input just in case there's something critical I'm missing.
For those that are wondering, the EVAP nipple I'm talking about is the one that the braided red hose connects to on the top of the TB on many older b series engines. I can provide a pic if needed.
Any advice or input is appreciated. Thanks!
