so i've saerched and know what to do to test the evap using a multimeter and jumper wires and mityvac, now i wanna buy a mityvac to test it but i looked on ebay and their site and there's like 50 different models lol what do you guys recommend i get?

I have the MV7000. It has done everything I wanted it to do. It's nice because you can flip the in/out to use it to build pressure as well
