It sounds really good. I am still tuning everything because the subwoofer isn't broken in yet.

 

I am not into sound systems but yours looks clean man!!!

 

that is a very clean install, subs are not my thing, but if i was gonna put some beat in an integra this is how i would want it to look. the only thing I would change is i would make some sort of grate or cover for the sub so u could throw stuff in back of car without smashing the sub

 

I went one step better the subwoofer box is completely removable. Notice the handles and the seams around the sealed enclosure. In fact all of the top panels are removable. When it is completely broken down the only things in the rear of my car are the skeleton for the floor, the battery, the cap , harness bar support, and the amplifier. It takes about 5 minutes to break it all down too.

Nice install. No spare. Looks like the battery would interfer. Planning a similar set up with the Rear Seats left in with JL Audio hardware. How much higher is the new floor over the old floor? 4-5"?

 

I'm not really into sound systems either but it definitely is a clean setup. Hopefully I'll see it in person at the meet!

 

I recently had all the interior out of my R. New alarm wired in and all new wiring for my future sound system. All tucked away nicely under the carpet. I will aslo design my system to be removed when it's finished.

So tell me, how much did the Dynamat cut down on the interior noise? I would hope alot for what that stuff costs.

 

I applied dynomat to floor, the back and even the hatch. Since I've gotten older the noise from the exhaust was a bit bothersome. It definitely helped.

I'm suprised someone hasn't already flamed you for the Dynamat in an ITR but hey, I can understand about the road noise. I have a 94 SE-R as my daily and I plan on doing the same thing in the future. My exhaust isn't that bad around town but on the HWY it drones really bad at 70-80 MPH. I don't want to change it because it has such a nice bassy sound.
If I drive for extended preriods of time I have been known to keep a set of ear plugs handy. They worked well on a 5 hr trip I just made.

looks great. also, you can use pine to keep the weight down. MDF sounds better but pine is MUCH lighter. i actually like the dynamat trunk idea. for a couple pounds i could see how it would really help with road noise. the grill is also the only thing i would add. having one would turn the back of your car into a virtual pick up bed for hauling stuff.

i'm also a fellow audio junkie with zapco and old school phoenix gold in his car

also, i have no idea how much power you're running but have you considered running the car off that battery in the back? doing a battery delete up front would be a performance advantage.

 

I'm a pretty big car audiophile and I have to say you have a very professional install. Simple, clean, and functional (hopefully)

It's a good thing you can quickly remove the sub for a day at the track. Looks like a good clean install.

That is very clean and well done. Whoever did the logos did a great job, looks perfect

 

i also highly agree..but i noticed it looks a little more like the DC5-R logos. but still very clean.

 

Not a sounds gut but that looks clean i like the integra type R on it too
