Hi everyone, I just found this forum.

I've been to Tijuana many times. I know the area fairly well. I'm entertaining the idea of having my car painted in Tijuana, to try and save money off a paint job that might cost three or four thousand dollars here in the U.S.

In TJ body shops can be found on virtually every steet corner. Has anyone here ever had their car painted in Mexico and if you did how would you rate your experience?

HA HA AHA HAHA AHA. You should ask them to do a 50 dollar paint job on your car for you!

Just kidding. But seriously, no I have not. I don't think that it would end up being much different then getting it done in the US, but one thing you don't have in mexico is liability. So if something goes wrong, you can't just drive down to mexico and complain. Chances are, they'll just tell you to scram. On the other hand, there are some pretty crazy chulo lowriders drivin around with sick *** paint jobs..... you decide.

i have a co-worker that flipped his satin silver civic over in the mountains, he took it to mexico and for like a grand they took out all the dents and painted the car black. the only thing we found wrong was that some the tabs were broken due to the rollover so the used metel screws and just filled it with body filler and painted over it eh we couldnt complain they did a badass job
