I picked up a car over year ago stating to have Koni's + GC suspension. I wanted to raise the vehicle today and got underneath to check what tool is needed. There are Koni's, but to my surprise I found a very different coilover setup than shown on GC's site. While the set installed on my car does have the set screw to lock the units in place, it's black in color and the adjustment perch ring is completely different than the units shown on the GC site. Is this a much older kit by chance? I contacted GC earlier and am just waiting to hear back

those are Koni sleeves.

Nothing wrong with those, they are good.

If you loosen the nut you should be able to turn it by hand.
