Code 43 fuel supply system
My 95 civic dx coupe with a b18b is throwing code 43. I replaced the injectors and the fuel filter and it still throws the code. It also has a horrible misfire around 2000 rpms when only giving it 1\4 throttle but if i give it more gas when it misses it will pick back up again. idk what it could be. Fuel pump maybe? what do you guys think?
After you replaced those items, you reset the ECU, correct? Usually this code has to do with an O2 sensor that's about to die. They only last 75k-100k miles and loose service life if they're subjected to rich mixtures, burning oil or coolant.
i had code 43 and i tried everything even replaced the fuel pump ended up being the fuel return line by the fuel tank had a small hole changed the hose code is gone
Use an engine stethoscope to determine whether all fuel injectors are clicking when the engine is idling. If the injectors are fine, then test the fuel pressure regulator.
