Will it fit?
So My car (95 DC2) is currently slammed and it hurts(if the car could talk it would say this)...on some 16x7 rota grids. unknown offset. I bought it that way about a year ago. I plan on raisng the car in the near month along with some extra susp goodies. I have PIC APEX's, 26 piece HARDRACE bushing set, ASR subrame brace and 24mm sway bar combo, Js racing cpillar bar, Benen B pillar bar, and Benen front tie bar. My final thing will be wheels to daily the car on. I am kinda headed towards some Gold Rota D2's. My choice of size will be 17" to compensate for the raising of the car. I have grown fond of the tucked and cambered/offset look but I refuse to be that low again.
So my question is will 17x8.5 wheels with a +20 offset fit on the car. I know with most low offset wheels you need to roll fenders and camber the rear which I have no problem doing and have the parts handy. But will it be this easy to accomplish with the wheel specs I just gave? I mean that is a hell of a wide wheel.
Anyone with experience Please feel free to chime in!
And if the answer is hell no it wont work... feel free to recommend any wheel specs you think/or know may work to accomplish the look I want.

Your new setup your proposing seems to be the same as the one your running just with a different combo of parts. You can run 17x8.5, but you might need to notch the rear trailing arms. Just curious why you want such a large rear sway bar? Are you planning on doing any kind of track driving with it?
no...not right now atleast.... if I did I would of got a stiffer spring rate than what I currently have.... the brace and swaybar is 75 percent for show 25% for spirited driving right now.
notching the rear trainling arm? like to cut a notch of it out to get it as the wheel and/or tire doesnt rub?

I would NEVER advise anyone to cut/notch the rear trailing arms... EVER! The way the trailing arms are made (stamped C-shape in cross section) could seriously weaken the arms if a piece was cut out of the outer face of the arms.
17x8.5 seriously? Why?? Also depending upon what tire size you had before, your car will probably sit even higher when you put the new wheels/tires on. If you raise the suspension and put on those wheels/tires, you could very well end up with a 4x4 stance.

I agree that notching the trailing arms isnt something that i would recomend, more something that i have seen done on time attack integra's to fit huge wheels. I think 17x7 would siut your needs just fine. You will get plenty of different looking wheels options with different offsets. Plus they will be way cheeper...
