Subaru Brembo Calipers on Civic???
Dont know if this is the right place to post this, but I was wondering if it would be possible to adapt subaru sti brembo calipers onto an EJ civic coupe??? has anyone even tried to tackle this one or is it just NOT POSSIBLE???
The STI does not use 295 discs, they are ~326mm. Also the STI has a trailing caliper configuration and the civic is a leading. So they wouldnt work because the stagger of pistons would be wrong in terms of the spin direction.
The Evo calipers would work as they're leading mount, but then those things are so massive that you would need to have deep wheel offsets in order to clear the spokes. Not to mention that you would have to fabricate a braket and have discs and hats with the correct centerline for the caliper.
The Brembos from the 350Z/G35 would be better as they're smaller calipers and very similar to the DC5R.
