Trim rings on OEM steelies?
I picked up a set of steelies from a '91 Civic wagon. They came with trim rings on the wheels and look like so:

Did these come on the hatch or sedan (the trim rings), or just on the wagon?

it looks as if the hatchback came with the same wheels but without the rings...

has anyone ever seen them on the hatchbacks with the rings from the factory?

is it just me or is that a corvette?
you can buy trim rings just like you can buy hub caps. but trim rings can kind of slide as you drive and eventually cut into the valve stem leaving you with a flat tire. this just happened to me a couple days ago. could have just been my set though

Take a picture of the real thing so we have a ballpark idea of what it looks like...or at least find another picture of the Civic with that.
It's quite possible that you have aftermarket hubcaps as well...

basically my hatchback looks like the blue one pictured above, but the wheels i had left for it look like the one on the wagon without the rings. i have never seen a hatch with them, but maybe its just because i never noticed. the rings and in good shape, but its not the issue of whether or not i want the rings, its a matter of whether or not they came with them. this is a restoration and i want it to be correct.
originally, my hatchback came with wheels that looked like this (imagine these wheels on a hatch) as you can see these do not have the trim rings:

sorry to put so many pics i just want you all to understand what i'm talking about

just noticed if you drag the pictures to the adress bar it will show the real pictures....
but dude all of those cars have the same wheels, none of them have trim rings. if it had trim rings it would be similar to what I posted.
to my knowledge no stock civic came with trim rings, its aftermarket and fairly cheap for a set

clearly in the first pic they are there on the wagon. but did they ever exist on the hatch? these pics are all from honda so the rings in the first pic are from the factory
ok so there is somebody out there that had them... good to know
i'm still not sure if these are supposed to be on this dx so i'm still indecisive whether or not i'm going to remove them
i'll take pics because clearly some of you guys don't see the trim rings on the wagon at the top but they are there
