Here is the scenario for the third time. I have a 90 std hatch, Its been swapped from a 4spd to a 5. I had truoble with the axels, so I bought ones that were 26 spline for a 5spd. Now they wont fit into the knuckles. Do I need new knuckles from a 5spd car, if so what car, si/dx/lx???. But on the other hand I have a complete suspension and a **** load of parts from a wrecked 90 Integra. Could i just use the knuckles from that or do I need bigger wheels. Right now the car has the 13inch steel rims on it. Someone told me I eed to go 14 or bigger. All advice would be apreciated,. I need to get this car rolling soon. Thanks
I think you might be able to use the teg knuckles, but i'm not sure.. i'd wait for someone else to chime in on that. you need std/hf axles if you have an std/hf chassis. dx,ex,and si axles are larger at the hub. if you cant use the teg knuckles then either you'll need to get std/hf axles, or get dx/ex/si knuckles.

i have the std axels but they didnt fit in the tranny which is out of a 90 lx. So i got the 5spd ones that fit the tranny. Now the problem is the knuckles
ok well i reckon that confirms my suspicion that the size is also different at the trans :/ lol. in which case since i assume replacing the trans is outta the question, you will need the appropriate larger knuckles.
Quite some time ago i remember reading about using integra knuckles, but i just can't recall if they are direct bolt on with no other fab, or what. you would imagine the rotors might be larger, but i'm not sure. i know somebody knows this info. you could try searching the forum for anything pertaing to integra knuckles? you might get lucky lol.
