F'ing PISSED!!! my pearl white tsx got keyed
so may 12 im at the hospital because my girlfriend just gave birth to my baby girl, and later on i go to go to grab some food. anyways i find my car isnt there, and had been towed.
anyways i go get my car from the impound and a section of the passenger 1/4 panel, and a small section of the rear passenger door was keyed. I can definitely "feel" the scratch.
what can be done besides painting it, because 1st off...
i doubt a small body shop besides Acura body shop will match the pearl white oem color perfectly, secondly, i want to stay away from painting just the door and the right 1/4 panel because paint will be hard to match brand new vs. the old paint, 3rd, painting will be alittle expensive, just wondering if there are cheaper alternatives.
would those "paint chips/scratch removal" places and guys who "come to you", are they any good?

If the scratch is bad but doesn't actually go INTO the paint, then you might be able to take it to a body shop, or even a detailing shop and have them use a rubbing compound on the area then polish it up.
If it's worse then that but still doesn't go into the paint, then the body shop might be able to wet sand the clear and then compound and polish.
If it's worse then that you're probably into the paint, then you would need to get it painted.
I've also heard of people fixing scratches by preping the surface, then clearing the panel, then wet sanding the whole panel flat, then compounding and polishing it back.
most scratches can be fixed, I wouldn't worry about it.
And to answer your other question, don't waste your time on scratch kits, their a bunch of horse hockey.
