Default water drip under dash with air conditioning?

I've got an EG hatch (92 DX with AC) that's pretty new to me. Yesterday, hot day, running the AC a lot, noticed a water drip under the passenger side dash and some wetness on the carpet.

At first I suspected a heater core leak, but the coolant level was fine; the coolant was dark green while the drip looks like it is clear and doesn't smell like coolant at all, so I don't think that was it.

Is there anything in the air conditioning system around the glove compartment area that would cause condensation to build up and drip? That's what I'm hoping the problem is, but I searched and couldn't find anyone else mentioning that. I'm taking this car on a 2000+ mile roadtrip this week, BTW!

Check your evap hose. It may be pluged up.

There is a small 1/2" hose under the evap make sure it is not clogged or pulled out.

Your evaporator (part of the A/C system) is mounted behind your glove compartment. The hose on the bottom is the evaporator drain hose. It exits the firewall through a grommet and drains outside behind the passenger wheel. As mentioned above, check that it is not blocked.

didn't know about the "evap hose", I'll try and find a parts diagram of where that is exactly and check it out.
