I need to know what iacv will fit the first gen b16. I have to order it from Honda and it is a special order non returnable part. Dont want to have to buy more than one. Pics of part below.

Have you cleaned the IAC very well and sprayed loads of lube spray in there, then tested it? Usually works.

it is the same as the 88-91 CRX/Civic Si D16A6

also 1st Gen CR-V uses the same IACV.

 

I'm pretty sure I have used one from a d15b, a b18c, and a b18a1.

I'm pretty sure they are all standard but I'm not sure. I had a lot of parts lying around while I was trying to fix my idle problem.

 

yes you could use the one from a B18 but the water hook up has a bend on the passenger side, no big deal. That is the only difference that I have seen.
