clutch cable
anyone ever do a auto to manual swap on a crx the had no factory hole for the clutch cable to feed threw the fire wall?. i have read alot about it and every one i read says there is a hole there (filled with a gromet , but the one im working on doesnt have one. ... any suggestions
uhmm i did drill a hole but what does the actual metal part of the cable go into ? the hole is for the gromet , im talking about the hard metal part of the cable it has to hook to somthing or the cable will just pull threw the firewall. is there a bracket that maybe mounts to the pedal assembly to hold the hard part of the cable
yea.... dont listen to this guy... drill a hole, use a very thick plate like one of your tow hooks to run the cable through before the firewall as the firewall will break, hook the cable to the pedal and adjust. i repeat, the firewall will rip like foil in time if its not braced well.
