why is there such a weight difference in the 88-91 crx's? an 88 at 1800 and a 91 at 2100? i stripped my 91 crx b16 down and it now weighs exactly 2000lbs, not what i was hoping for.

As the years went on they just kept adding more stuff which added weight. 88's are much lighter because of many things, like lack of door bracing, pillar mounted seatbelts, lighter LCA's, rear drums, etc...you know what, just check out this thread.
