Default Finaly made 10's

Went out last night still on 22psi. Ryan brought his 23" slicks out for me to play on. Thanks brotha! So the first pass popped a plug wire off the dizzy on the 2-3 shift and putted my way to a 12.4@92mph. Second pass was a very very light burnout. 1.9 60ft spinning 1st and second and couldnt hit 5th, 11.3@125. Third pass, better burnout but not launching on the 2-step, cut a 1.8 60ft spun some more and still not hitting 5th, 11.0@126mph. Last pass, pretty light burnout, no 2-step (scared to break axles), hooked ok but still spun in 1st and 2nd a little, and still no GODDAM 5th. So shutting down at the 1000ft. mark. Ran through the traps with a 10.76@126.57!

Breakdown of the run
R/T----.509
60ft.---1.787
330----4.753
1/8----7.066
mph---106.56
1000---9.009
1/4----10.760
MPH---126.57

**EDIT FOR NEW MPH**

Went out this past weekend on the new 24.5's and couldnt get them to stop spinning in 1st and 2nd, but somehow still cutting low 1.7 60ft's. But ran a 10.8@137mph with it breaking up in the 4th gear.

you don't want to hit 5th, because it will kill your et and mph. you want to stay in 4th gear. what rpm are you shiftting at.

So does anyone have any idea what i would run on a 24.5" slick and actualy launching it? What would be a good 60ft, mid 1.6's? And what trap speed? Their cracking down on safety stuff at our track so if its gonna go over 140mph i gotta do some stuff. Another teg at the track went 11.0@141 and my mph in the 1/8 was 1.3mph faster than his.

Congrats! I wish I could have made it down there. Victor's Integra was the one trapping 141 mph... he was hitting 2.0 60fts!

On another note we have a used set of 24.5x8's for sale... but they're for a 13" tire. Just fyi.

Sounds to me like just getting a longer ratio trans! Good job!

Congrats. The setup looks strong and with a bit longer gears you'll be in the low to mid 10's!

Thanks Reid, i appreciate it. What is up with the teg, why is it only hitting 2.0's on slicks? Im hoping to run that kind of mph.

I know this is an odd question, but I'm looking into the treadstone intercooler. I'm wondering which one you have and if you have any pics of it and your bumper?

And congrats on the time. 10's are in the future.

Nice. Get some 24.5s and preload if your scared of breaking axles, it will take off a lot of strain off the axles if you preload.

Im running the TR10 intercooler. I like it alot, it seems to work very well. I had a smaller one on it and just switching over to the Treadstone, it picked up 500rpm spool time. Dont have a pic of just the bumper but have this.
