1990 accord, code 43, 41, 1, searched
ok, so i searched this, only to find Alot of people that didn't get there questions answer either.
so here goes, i'm throwing the codes 43 (fuel delivery), 41(primary oxygen sensor heater), and 1 (o2 sensor).
The problem is described like this, car cranks perfectly, drives fine, until i get on the hwy and up to speeds, then code comes on until i park the car again, then everytime, once i crank it, drives fine a few minutes, when i get up to speeds, code returns.
Now, the car boggs BAD when leaving a light or stop sign, even at half throttle, i have to floor it and when i do the power kicks in and car jumps and goes, so when i leave stops i have to floor it, if not i have a major loss in power.
i bought the car as a DD last fall, at that time o2 sensor head had broken off so i replaced it with a new one, and now i have these codes, i thought at first maybe it was my dizzy since the seals on it were bad on oil was dripping out the bottom of cap, so i replaced dizzy wednesday but that was not the problem- needed to be done anyways, so 43 throws me aloop, cause fuel system? thats a broad range, anyone have any ideas?
Only thoughts i have is try some seafoam, if that don't work, change fuel filter - haven't done yet and don't know when last time i was changed. any thoughts are greatly appreciated! Thanks peeps

Did you clear the codes after replacing the dizzy?
If not they will still be in the memory!
Code 43 is a very generic code. It can be caused by a bad o2 sensor(ad or wiring), incorrect mechanic timing, bad fuel injector, bad MAP sensor, bad fuel pressure regulator, clogged fuel filter, big vacuum leak. I would start with the O2 sensor and go from there, I would check the resistance from the connector at the sensor, to the connector at the ECU first. If you can get ahold of a factory honda manual, they have very detailed diagnostic trouble charts. I found some online a while back, but don't remember what site.
Hope this Helps.

well i actually have the entire factory manual on disk, my suspicions thus far are fuel filter, o2 sensor and fuel press regulator, but i'm gonna troubleshoot it later, it raining now

its starting to get worse, yesterday when i tried to leave, and its happened a few times since then, but when i leave a stop sign or a light i almost here what resembles a knocking noise, but more at a higher pitch, its hard to describe. i just really hate to end up replacing distributor, regulator, filters, injectors and not solve the problem.. Does anyone have an idea of what could cause this?
I have code 41, but the car drives fine. I get 32 mpg with check engine light on. I replaced my O2 sensor from autozone. It looks like the non-honda O2 sensor has a different heater resistance reading causing the fault. But code 41 will not cause it to bog down.
How many miles on the car? I have over 300k miles and I already replaced the ECU, TPS, spark plug wires, battery and ignition coil. That's about it. Other than that it still runs good.

my 90' has about 155k miles, orig motor, i replaced o2 sensor with autozone one (duralast?) in september of last year, but it always ran find until about 2 weeks ago.
