Default just got alignment done now 1/2sec delay

my car is a 90 civic hb, koni/gc (cat about 3 inches off the ground; slammed-ish?
195/55/15 s.drives.

well before the alignment, i had a "stiff" steering feel. i loved how it handled and i just felt that i had more control.

just yesterday, i had my alignment done ( same height, didn't adjust anything btw ).
now the "stiff" feeling isn't there anymore.

does anybody here in h-t know what i mean? and why my car slops now after alignment?

Take it back to the shop and make sure they tightened everything back up.

The way I read this, you took it to get an alignment, and it dident need any adjustment at all. So they dident change anything. If all was in spec they proobably just checked it.

no! haha
i meant i didn't adjust my ride height at all.
the guys are the shop aligned my car to factory specs.
after the alignment, i didn't feel that "stiff" feeling.
found out the stiffness was caused by toe out.
anymore tips to make my car ride smooth would be greatly appreciated.

Getting the car corner weighted will also improve the feel of the car when you drive it...

do you mean corner balancing? if so, i'll go back and get it done.
but before i do that, i will raise my car about an inch or so.

what does the print out say? can you scan it?

no, a corner balance is not going to do anything like you are looking for.

seems like your ride went from crappy to better, but you just liked crappy better. i wouldnt consider "stiff" steering as desirable.

yeah, there is the big nut at the pinion. its usually not adjusted during an alignment. but maybe the tech didnt like your stiff steering.
