i hear clicking noice when i turn the wheel
I just bought a 2007 civic si sedan and it came lowered on springs I believe. When I look there were red spring. The problem is I hear clicking sounds while I am fully turn my wheel to the left or right. What could be di problem and how do I fix it?
check the CV axles on the SI.... check if the boot is broken for the inner cv joints.
put the car on jacks and then make the full turn while on the jacks and pay attention to the sound... maybe you will need 2 people to check it out.......
My other question is does it make a noise while going straight ?????????

No there is no sound when its going straight on in a dead stop or below 10mph. I just had di wheel aligned and still it clicks. I will try jackin it up and see if it still makes the sound thank. If it does what are my options?

definately symptoms for bad cv/axles
check to see if one of your boots ripped, something may have gotten in there corroding them over time, blah blah etc
it's only a 3 year old car, but it's a possibility
i dont know where you live, but if you live in a state that gets snow, and they salt the streets it will cause massive corrosion damage to yo parts that are unprotected.. yo

I'm in NYC and the first own was in Massachusett so i could be salt damage. the mechanic said the car is too low and it maybe because it needs a camber set. I love how the car looks but hate the sound, plus i have to be douging potholes and stuff like crazy
Ok i and one of my friends just finish jackin up the car and I turned it while it was up and i didnt hear the sound as loud as it is onthe ground. It was quite faint though but when u hold the tyre and turn it u can hear it and feel it. We the looked for the power steering fluid and could find it. Do u thinkthat could be a part of the problem, that the previous owner didnt no where it was too and neglected it?
We also found out that the springs are Shunk2 but the looked like the were the wrong size too, so I thing my next step is to try and source some stock springs or good coilovers.Any recommendations?

Take the wheel off and post some pics........
The shocks nor the spring could be the problem.....
I still go with the CV axles. If its a clicking sound it shouldnt be the power steering. But check your fluid levels and check for leaks.
But again post some pics of the Vehicle and the wheel area.......

I just went on skunk2 website to see if the had any springs for 07 si sedan and they didn't or is there. That could be the reason I hear those sounds. Theprevious owner installed the wrong springs??????
not springs.. check the CV joints one more time. See if you can pull it with your finger. if you can than you need new axles. Also look for leaks of oil or just an accumulation of oil around the joint. This happened on my van and once i changed it it was fine. Just take it into any shop and give em 10 bucks.. theyll look at it for you.
I forget to mention when we raised the car we saw welded metal under the front for tow hooks, that makes me suspect that it might just be an axles issue. Itsn't that a really expensive problem to fix?
The springs isn't the problem. Why don't you take the car to shop so they can put it on a lift and inspect the axle then you go from there. The car and drop looks good minus those hideous rims you have in the rear lol
I'm being mad cheap about it but I am planning on taking it to the shop on friday, until the I will do what i can to try an figure out what is wrong myself (with the help of u guys of course).
PS wait til i put on the matching pair, u will eat ur words (rims r hot son)

What are those 22's?
Are you trying to win a dub trophy with those rims?
You said you took pics where are they?
As for the wheels this is how it would look with the matching pair of stocks in the rear

Or you can get these badboys.
