Icon2 Quick ? on J block diffrences

Im in the process of pricing and buying the needed items to do a j swap in my 95 ej civic. In the hasport engine list it calls for a 00-02 j30a1. But as I research I see some sites say 98-02 are the same. Is there a diffrence between the 98,98 jblock and the 00-02 jblock?

Thank you in advance.

No differences in block. 00-02 models have a direct ignition system. You might want to look into a j32a2 as they have 260hp as opposed to 200hp from the j30a1.
