Easy tranny question
It just matters what car you're putting it into. If the car had a hydro tranny, then you can put the hydro tranny on.
The engine dont matter. As long as it is a b series tranny and b series engine it will bolt up. All that matters is that cable trannies fit in 91 and older civic's and crx's and I think 93-and older integra's. 92-to present on civic's and 94 to present integra's use Hydraulic trannies. The difference is the clutch hydraulic or cable. But yes you could use like a 2001 Type R motor with say a 93 GSR tranny and it will bolt into a 88-91 civic with no problems. With a bolt in kit. But in your 93 hatch you will have to have the hydraulic tranny and no it doesnt matter if the motor is a cable tranny motor or a hydraulic tranny motor.
