Weird Noise Coming From Cam Gears
So I just finished up my LSV and there was a weird noise coming from the cam gears when revved. On idle it sounds normal, But you get this loose metal or marble sound when revved. The valve lash is set to spec and the valve train as a whole sounds frikken great.
I put my ear right up to the cam gears when its running and its definitly coming from right there, The belt is also walking back and forth a little bit when you look at the exhaust gear head on. The belt is tensioned and tight!
I though maybe bent cam gears so I took the Skunk2 cam gears off and put stock cam gears on and SAME F-ing sound.
What would cause the belt to kind of slightly walk back and forth...This isnt a wobble in the belt...cause its tight. The sound coming out of the gears or the cam area is hard to describe......the only way I can describe it is like...loose metal rotating....or some ****. But again, the sound is definitly coming from right where the cam gears are.
Anyone experienced this? Or have any ideas? Its a fresh built LSV.

I did my valve cover gasket and ended up checking the valve lash when I was done. Some were really tight - almost no gap! While rotating the motor one of the valve springs was popping out as if it were getting hung up....? Really confused any advice would help, thanks.
