Default Powersteering or no? Poll

Like the title says, i'm looking for opinions on weather or not to install power steering. I have a parts car with it (dx auto hatch) and kind of like the feel of power assisted steering, but want others opinions. my manual rack probably will need an over haul sooner or later, as the drivers side inner tie rod boot is shredded...

Depends on what the car is for.

Couple reasons to use ps would be, daily driver that's not concerned with a 3hp loss or an autox/rr monster with large r-compound tires. I have a ps rack and subframe sitting here that will get installed eventually.

Manual is not hard at all to turn in a light car, and I prefer the feel of manual rather than PS

I personally prefer power steering, although I don't mind manual steering. But I do agree that it depends what your car is for.

If it's an all out race car, then I would stick with manual steering. If it's more of a daily driver or even a weekend warrior, and you got all the parts then why not go for power steering? (I'm swapping power steering into my CRX; already got all the parts).

Honda power steering is way over boosted. You lose too much road feel with it.

I have a 91 std hatch that doesn't have it, and a 91 rt4wd that does. I don't even notice a difference between them.

Easy answer, If your car came with power steering then leave it on. If it doesn't then you don't need it.
