Trying to tell the difference between a d15 and d16.
i need to get some new exhaust heads to pass smog ( cuz current ones are cracked and was told they wont pass if crack) true?
Its a 96 ek hatch previous owner messed with the moter a little because i was lookin at the block to see if I could just read off of there if was a d16 or 15. but it is a ZC.
just not sure to confirmed which is which.

 

If it says zc then it is a DOHC ZC "Motor". It is different from a D motor.And do need a head or a header,because a D header will work on a ZC

 

I just need the header, because today called the smog shop and they said i need to fix that before trying to test it.
Any d series header will work on a ZC?
