Replacing friends bearings some quick questions for the accord guys
So I have a civic, but I am helping my friend replace the front bearings on his 95 accord sedan. Long story short my friend told me the right one was bad and for some reason i assumed he was right but he was wrong and it was the left one that was bad. That was a waste of a couple hours. But the guy who pressed the first one out told us that he had to break the rotor to get the bearing out. I have never heard of that but I don't really know. Is that true, it just seems like an awful design if that's true.

There are four bolts to remove from the rotor from the hub. There is no need to "break" anything. That mechanic is a moron.
If your friend needs a good bearing I have one for sale cheap.

ok thanks that is what i thought. But the guy was an employee of friend of a friend and was doing it for free so i didn't want to argue with him unless I was sure. But yeah it took him like an hour and a half to press out one freekin bearing there really wasn't to much question that he was a moron. He already bought another bearing but how much is cheap
